To ensure that your cylinders are ready for printing, we produce cylinders proofs using the same substrate and inks that will be used in your printing production. This will allow us to stimulate the production conditions as accurately as possible. Once the cylinder proof is produced, we proceed with quality checks with regards to text, state of art and of course to ensure that we color match the approved EPSON proof.
You may want to engrave your cylinders on a specific supplier but timings are very tight. We have the solution for you. We can prepare bases ready for engraving and ship the cylinders directly to your local supplier!
Working very closely with our partner, we can support you with Cellaxy Direct Laser engraving. Depending on the nature of the design, laser engraving can offer precision without the saw-tooth effect.

Once a new steel base is produced, we place an RFID tag on each cylinder. In this way we are allowed to obtain all necessary information for each cylinder. We can keep track for each cylinder and its history.

When we recycle bases from your stock, here is the procedure we follow:
Re-using cylinders from your stock, it means we can either:
- Turned down in circumference cylinders
- Use same circumference and in any kind of diameter
Once items are received, we do our primary checking which includes cones/flange checking based on the cylinder drawing you have provided to us and the wall thickness of the cylinder again based on your requirements.
If QA is not approved we have the option to either produce a new base or repair the existing one.
If QA is approved, all cylinders are prepared at a cleaning station to remove any ink or any kind of substances that are left on the cylinder surface after printing
